Meatballs are great with spaghetti. However, with fried spaghetti and peanut sauce you won’t miss the meat at all. Furthermore you’ll get a healthy dose of veggies with red and green cabbage, carrots and onions. Your body will thank you. Most importantly, these three herbs, basil, mint, and cilantro go really well with peanut sauce. Certainly, some of your guests will want extra peanut sauce to top their meal. Don’t be surprised if your dinner guests ask to be sent home with leftovers. After you delight your guests with this meal, they may never leave.
INGREDIENTS:
- One package of spaghetti noodles
- 1/2 cup of sliced red and green cabbage
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 1 sweet onion (sliced)
- 2 large carrots (shredded)
- 1 bunch of cilantro (optional) (cut into bite size)
- 1 bunch of sweet basil (chopped)
- 1 bunch of mint (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- One jar Organic Spicy Peanut Sauce – Medium. When you want it hotter, we suggest adding Organic Original Dipping Sauce – Medium or Hot.
PREPARATION NOTES
First cook the noodle
- Choose a pot that’s large enough so that the water can boil rapidly without spilling over and so that the pasta has plenty of room.
- 1 package pasta of you choice
- In a pot fill with 8 cups water
- Bring the water to a boil
- Add the noodles
- When the noodles start to get soft, turn the heat down to low
- Cove the pot with lid, stir occasionally prevent the noodles from sticking
- While the noodle are cooking now is the good time to prepare the vegetables
